Omg this was so god!

I've read this before and thought I had reviewed it then, but apparently I was remiss in doing so.
This story is an incredible look at Snape's inner turmoil through the eyes of another and what a brilliant choice in making that someone Remus Lupin.

Hmmm...very nice. I too have been most curious as to what Severus would see if he faced down a boggart. Poor Severus! He truly did not deserve such a horriffic death or life. Poor devil!

I would be tempted to say that if this happens in 3rd year, Remus should have his suspicions when Snape kills Dumbledore at the end of year 6. JKR worked really hard to write Remus into a corner, though, forever a sidekick and not even up for a decent romance. The sighing and moping romance is for teenagers. Someone write an AU where Remus backs Snape up for year 7, why don't you?

Wonderful. Well-written and poignant. The characters are perfect, too. (Canon-Dumbledore is more distant, but I like yours.) Thanks for sharing.
