That's amazing

It's a nice story. However some things need to be adress.

For one, it's overly detailed. The conversations they had seemed like they were in slow motion. It's best to do no more than two sentences of small detail of what's happening. Only explain when it's really needed. Like at a question that was needin to be thought out. Or if there was an actual pause.

For example.

("But when he's back, what will you do then? She loves him, and suppose he loves her too?" Ino replied, waving her hand at the barman. Another shot was in front of her in an instant, despite the fact that she was underage. Nobody seemed to follow the alcohol laws in the area. Maybe because they realised like every young shinobi had that they were old enough to kill and die for their country, but not to drink in it. Plus, there was a profit to be made from the kids who were slightly more disturbed. Especially those who used it to help them forget. It was a shady thing, really, not that Ino seemed to care at the rate she was going.

"Accept it." Naruto said, without hesitation.)

All of that detail was unnecessary. The only thing that mattered was the conversation at hand. I do not think the readers care about drinking.

Your whole story could be 10 times shorter if you removed the all the excess details like this:

("But when he's back, what will you do then? She loves him, and suppose he loves her too?" Ino replied, waving her hand at the barman for another shot

"Accept it." Naruto said, without hesitation.)

That was all the story needed. Like I said it was dragged out. Other than that it's a nicertain romantic fic.

Kind of hard to read with the walls of text, but it's done amazingly well. One of my favorites, very glad you wrote this. This is really the only fic of this writing style that I can honestly say I like, and it's fantastic. Job VERY well done. Makes me want to browse any other fics you have :3

Beautiful. That is one of the few words that can be used for a piece of art, such as this. It shows all the pain and sorrow suffered without all the fake sweetness that never existed in the first place. It made me cry. A feat that very few stories has ever managed. The simplicity, and caring is, just, ... Inexplicable...

Although Ive never really shipped them, I have to say that this is a really interesting viewpoint... I would never have thought of them in this way.. loved it! :)

Wow. This is just great. Not the normal hook up story but something deeper. Great stuff.

This was really bittersweet and I loved it. You showed some maturity in their interactions, whether Ino was drowning in her sorrows and Naruto being so abnegated, to where they are eventually connected by a stream of a sentence. That was very touching to see them in some way grow up from their fruitless past and end up flowing towards the future together. I love it! And NaruIno is my favorite pairing, by far. :)

I did enjoy this. It showed a deeper meaning to the metaphor "We are paper waiting to tear" This explored that and it made, in a profound manner, it put it under a microscope and with delicate hands makes into something that is beautiful and understandable. It truly was a pleasure reading this.
