It shows how cool and in control she still is of herself, while in the mean time there is a little bit of fear shining through. She's thinking of meeting with Death right then and there. As a writer you can bring it over to the page with the right words, moments, descriptions of emotions. And the chemistry between Hotch and Emily is so alive in this story! |
