...it took you three hours to come up with this? I didn't know this was yaoi. But it DOES suit the characters well! Can't favorite this though. (Even though I LOVE this song) This is my sister's account and she only reads 'amuto' fanfics, so she'd kill me if-er-when she finds this...she looks at her favorite list a LOT to see if her best friend updated her stuff yet or not. You is one Noah/Cody writing MACHINE! XD

This was a sweet fanfiction, with a very cute theme. I loved how you captured Noah's irritablity with the music and all; I can get as rude and irritable as he does, and I can completely feel what you're trying to get at. It's really "well-potrayed. :D

But at the same time, Noah's compassion and love for Cody are very clear, and it's made even stronger by the way you did portray his frustration. For people like that to stick with such nuisances . . . they've got to really be in love. :3 So good job there, too.

However, I feel like Cody's a bit of cardboard cut-out in this fanfiction. I mean, sure, he's a bit annoying, and he's got that "follow the crowd" thing going, but the emotion just doesn't come through. I think that the worst part of that is when he's singing the song at the end. Often times, the fault is the sentence structure. Capturing emotion with song is pretty difficult (hence all the problems with song-fics), but you did pretty well. But some sentences needed a better format to really bring out the feeling. For example, "He sang, still not seeing Noah, who was standing dumstruck in the doorway." This should be changed to something along the lines of "he sang. He still didn't see Noah, who was standing dumstruck in the doorway." Or better yet, "see" should be replaced with "notice", because it has a better rythymn. There's a lot of poetry in writing. :3

But the fact that I'm pointing out rythymn is really good! I usually reserve that for the best writers, who don't have much further to do. So, great job! And I shall send you a PM later with ideas for Total Drama Drama. :D
