Lovely story! I like Lestrade's resigned acceptance of how you have to handle Sherlock.

Aw, this is one of the best I've read in a while. I er, just got into the fandom after falling in love with the BBC Sherlock. Really enjoying going back to read the ACD books now. I love the Watson angst that seems to be featured in a number of your stories, I can't wait to look through and read some more. Thanks for sharing! :D

Wow. Thats the coolest way of saying "then Watsons combined injuries and deprivations came to a head and he passed out for two days" I have ever read. Excellent writing, very compelling.

This chapter is just adorable. I love mentor-Lestrade, and his necessarily love/hate relationship with Holmes.

Watson is so believably awesome in this chapter. Nicely done.

I really love your work. The format of short chapters here is executed perfectly, and allowing Lestrade to tell Holmesside of the story is both a fun time with his character and definitely a much clearer, funnier version of the experience than we would see through Holmes eyes. Great work. I must ask, however, after this chapter for an instance of Cummings seeing what happens if someone looks cross-eyed at Watson in Holmespresence.

BTW, in this chapter I love the use of 'stalked' for Holmes; it's most definitely something I can see him doing.
