I loved this longer fic. Poor Dean. That had to be absolutely brutal for the guy... to see what the body looked like. And yeah, having the flu s*cks in the best of cases. **cuddles Dean** Just... poor thing. And love him practically wiping out on the job and nearly puking his guts out. My favorite line was: “Dean?” Sam’s voice called again, and Dean opened his mouth to tell Sam for the millionth time that he was FINE, when suddenly everything went kind of Kaleidoscopic. Kaleidoscopic is a fantastic way to describe it. I's IN LOVES with the use of that word.

well... wow. that was really good. loved the last line.

That was truly a hard pill to swallow for Dean - and his poor condition with the fever and sick stomach surely didn't help, either.

A little on the gross side but sadly quite realistic. Poor boys!

I told you how much I loved this, didn't I? Creepy and disturbing and a fascinating insight into Dean's psyche as he struggles to come to terms with having died.

I think that'd be hard for anyone, but for someone who remembers hell as well ... and for that someone who has no control over his life, as much as he likes to pretend otherwise, to really only ever having had control of his body, to suddenly lose that control in death and then in re-living ... poor Dean.

Does that make any sense at all?

Hey! This story is amazing! You have broken into a part of Dean that no one has seen yet, and that's awesome!

Loved it! Very Creative and different than most.

Oh wow, great turn of events. I've always wanted the show to explore that aspect...obviously Dean wouldn't have been all nicely preserved after four months dead...not to mention being doggy chow. Great drabble, gross but in a good way.

My poor boy! *pets Dean* What an awful dream! I didn't even think about what seeing that body like that would have done to him. I mean, gross, yeah, but he would have been like that, too. Blech! No wonder he was having a nightmare!

Beautifully done. I would have been willing to share my body warmth with him...just to maybe save his life, of course. :D He was shivering so much, I'd have done anything to help. :)

This was really good. I love getting insight on the characters and the fact that Dean remembers having worms in his coffin is really sad! And disturbing, of course! Really great job on this story!

This is superb. Simply superb. I loved every word of it. That whole worm thing is absolutely gross.

1. The blanket that lives in their trunk and smells like gas and oil and has a blood stain on it and Sam keeps meaning to clean it but then he never does.

2. Dean going "Agh, Sam keeps asking me if I want anything, so annoying," and then seeing from Sam's side that Dean has been white as a sheet all afternoon and so of COURSE he's asking if he wants anything.

3. The wobbliness and the fainting. And most especially this wobbliness: "Dean flinched at the cold and opened his eyes, blinking up at Sam but not really seeing him and he groaned, bringing a shaking hand up to his head."

4. The revelation at the end that Dean's so freaked about the worms because that's the same stage of decomposition he got to before he was brought back to life, which I didn't piece together at ALL and that so would have made for fever dream fodder.

5. Can I hug you?
