I like the orginality of this fic

The polyjuice and prison idea reminded me of the Crouch family.

In a way, everybody knows the lengths that Severus Snape was willing to go through for his red-headed witch, but to really have him do it, face to face with the Potters really had me. I almost wanted him dead, just for the sheer sake of making sure Lily becomes devoted to his memory. Although, I think it would have destroyed the Potter family(not that I care too much). After all, it's quite difficult to compete with a dead man. XD

Evil, I know. It's just something that appeals to my inclination to romantic tragedies. It's like canon all over. XD

Anyway, I love Vil too. Her attitude reminds of both Severus and Lily. Sarcastic and passionate, brave and rude.. something about her that leads me to conclude that she could have been the love child borne of a Snape and an Evans. XD

That was great, well written and the images are detailed beautifully. I enjoyed his interaction with Vil and how she help him as well. Voldemort having a prison makes sense as well. Once again, great story and I think I will look up the other stories you wrote. Thanks for sharing.

Only, how is Snape's decision here any less dependant on chance than it is in canon? It sounds like he wouldn't have done anything (yet?) if Lily hadn't been caught. He definitely needs some kind of catalyst to get him from silently disagreeing with the Death Eaters to actually doing something. Imho the interesting question is whether anything but Lily would have been enough.

Interesting concept and plot

I like this alternative situation, but I don't exactly see how it is any different for Snape? After all, he still ended up betraying Voldemort for Lily, because she was in danger. Also I wasn't very convinced by the beginning.. I mean, just the Snape going all Hero on his own part. It is still well written and interesting.

I actually think Snape probably would have stayed a loyal Death Eater without Lily. At that point he didn't know he had anything but enemies on Dumbledore's side and he's not exactly the kind of person who trusts other people's good will. Other than that, he's an extremely unsympathetic man. This though is just speculation. I'll read on to find out how this story goes..

Well done! A complex and well-written piece, and very creative. What a fascinating take on the Patronus! And I like how you tie in that most Death Eaters cannot produce them. Vil is one of the only OCs (well, sort of, I suppose really she's a part of Snape, making her not QUITE an OC, but still...) that I've found enjoyable. Good job!
