Reviews for The Letter
FeanorusRex chapter 1 . 1/26/2017
I want to die, I'm dying.
ROYGBISCUITS chapter 1 . 1/12/2015
I've always wondered what Caramon's letter to Raist actually said, and whether or not Raist actually did happen to read it. You, my friend, wrote everything I could have hoped for- and I'm willing to say with complete assurance that you wrote it better than even Margaret and Tracy could have. This is, without a doubt, the best Dragonlance fic I've ever read, and to your merit, yes, I am one big weepy mess right now. That was perfection.
Goldmints chapter 1 . 9/19/2014
oh god that hurt
The Jingo chapter 1 . 5/24/2014
;-;

Cannot contain all these feels haha. Makes me long for a happier resolution to the story, but then I suppose it wouldn't be canon-compliant.

How has the writing been old dog? I see you haven't written anything in a couple of years either here or back on adultfanfiction.
Limbo-Azure chapter 1 . 11/24/2013
:( poor Caramon...
But I just cannot hate Raist for what he had done to his brother.
Thx for your brilliant work and, can I ask for your permission to translate this fic into Chinese and share with my friends? I will keep all your information on the translation and link you the address when I finish it
The Babbling Vale chapter 1 . 2/14/2011
Um, this was gorgeous. How you managed to pin Raistlin so well is completely beyond me. You portrayed his inner struggle with the emotions he feels for his brother that he's trying to escape but can't in a way that was very in character. I love your reasoning for why Raistlin did what he did. My point is, this is one of the best Dragonlance fanfics I've read and is going on my favorites list.
Evilnor chapter 1 . 10/26/2010
Very nice take on the idea and pretty well-written, though even then, Raistlin would probably never actually admit he was sorry, even to himself. He's always convinced he's right, after all. Dalamar's depiction made total sense, though. He hadn't been with Raistlin for very long, so could've still been jumpy and nervous about him. The letter itself was completely in character for Caramon, though.

Overall, a very lovely little story . . . and right after would probably be when Dalamar calls in Elistan to care for a very sick Raistlin and incur the debt described in Test of the Twins.
Mei121197 chapter 1 . 8/29/2010
Dear Rosa Tenebrum!

I like your story very much. And Raistlin is my favouite character.

But I wish I translated this story and published it on HogwartsNet. Can I do it? Of cource Ill write the autor of this story.
Aroihkin chapter 1 . 1/1/2010
Wow, that was beautifully done. I'm so glad I found this story. :)
Saeyan chapter 1 . 8/26/2009
Beautiful.

I did spot a typo, though: "Raistlin shook his head in disbelief and laughed dryly. Caramon certainly had a tremendos amount of faith in his wife's understanding." - the tremendous is missing a 'u'.
Karlan chapter 1 . 7/28/2009
You portrayed Raist so perfectly... He's evil, or he's trying to be, but he still has feelings he can't hide, no matter how hard he tries... And these are the feeling connected with Caramon. Raist loves his brother although he tries to throw that love away... And he realises that he can't. Just perfect.

And his attitude to Dalamar was just right. He's always known his apprentice's a spy, but he was only playing with him...
Martiny the one and only still chapter 1 . 6/4/2009
OMG I knew he read it! I just knew it! I don't care this is just fanfiction, I say it happened! Seems just like them, Raistlin would not just ignore him, he just wouldn't!

Dragonfly-09 chapter 1 . 4/24/2009
And you've only got 6 reviews for this? No way! It was brilliantly written, no spelling errors, and everything was in character. Best of all, it really made an impact (maybe I'm just striving to find some care for Caramon in Raistlin - like when Caramon was caught in the wolf trap, hanging up-side down, and Raistlin burst out laughing) and it truly was great. It almost made me cry when Raistlin cried! Now I feel a little like a geek, a little too obsessed with DL Legends, but oh well...
Nontacitare chapter 1 . 4/14/2009
This was very well-written. You captured Raistlin's character beautifully, making him cruel and despicable, yet with enough sympathy that we just can't help but feel bad for him. I loved his reaction to learning that Caramon and Tika were married.

You also did a good job portraying Raistlin's and Dalamar's relationship; however, it's not really in Dalamar's character to show fear, even if anyone in his position would be feeling it. I would have prefered to see Dalamar outwardly calm but inwardly trembling, with Raistlin seeing through him, rather than have Dalamar give himself away.

Again, this was a great story.
Kalyane chapter 1 . 4/1/2009
Very touching!

I felt so sorry for both of them...

You are really good :)
