That's Sora for you. Ever the optimist. And he really shouldn't feel guilty about anything. It's not his fault he didn't notice what was going on. Even if he says he should've been able to, people often say that sort of thing when they look back on something, but really, it's not true at all. Live through the same thing a thousand times and he still wouldn't have noticed.

I really liked this scene. It's just so amusing being able to see Luxord's thoughts on everyone. And the fact that he sees everything as a game just gives everything a lighter air and makes it less depressing. It wasn't really depressing anyway, it's just that's the best word I can think of right now. But the fact that Luxord does have that out look means he hardly ever gets angry and it just makes reading from his POV really enjoyable. It also showed a lighter side to some of the other characters in a way. Although, you're right about it not fitting in the actual story. It would've had to interupt Axel running away from Sephiroth and that would have just killed the flow of the action. I hadn't been expecting you to get the first one of these up until later, but I'm glad you did. These should help tide over till the sequel. Love to you for the scene. I can't wait to see more. Bye.
