While the monolog by dumbledore was with a pureblood POV the reality is that nearly all purebloods are weaker than halfbloods and muggleborns thanks to inbreeding. While the purebloods can pass down those traits they still apear in muggleborns thanks to squib ancestors and purebloods are limited in those traits as their magical cores are more unstable and slowly dying. The only reason they can compete is that they control the entire government and can keep everyone else ignorant while hoarding nearly all the knowledge to themselves and having their kids be able to practice magic outside of school while most halfbloods and all muggleborns can't.

I totally forgot about this story and then I found it looking for another story. I figure that this story is abandoned because you haven't updated in like seven years. Will Harry meet any of the other criminals like Riddler or Croc or Deadshot or that Magician super girl (forgot her name)? Hopefully Harry finds Ivy and soon.

I really like a lot and I hope you will put on a sequel.

In regards to your disclaimer for this chapter: yes, there are quite a few harry/ivy fics around, but they seem to be sufficietly different to be enjoyable. I have read several over the last few days, and see no reason to assume thoughts of idea theft. Your story seems to be sufficiently different as to still be fun. Very enjoyable story, thank you. _
