Nice one-shot. You really captured Emma's nature: bold, insightful and intrusive without being malicious. Scott was equally well-done as his frustration and confliction about not being able to lead and to grieve at the same time.

I quite enjoyed reading this. I think you've captured Emma and Scott quite nicely, how they relate to each other, and how they're dealing with the situation that they're in.
