I love this story. I know you said you can't really picture them in love but love is dynamic, and maybe your not picturing the right kind of love. The love they share, I can't see as young love; these two both have a history, they are both war torn... you started to dive into his demons, what about hers? I see a weathered love, an appreciation for the each other, something deeper than a passion driven twitterpation...a love where they see each other, raw and real and in a new light with full acceptance. I feel like you've started to do that already. let the characters have vulnerable moments... in the end you may have a beautiful romance or an unconditional friendship.

So good to have you back at this story again! I look forward to your updates and seeing how you can portray a romance for these two characters. Romance in and of itself is never easy. Love is a complex emotion. I am sure you will do fine. Love your story. Thanks for coming back!
