Hee. This is a cute story. More than Logan carving a rattle for the baby, I think the image of Logan just hanging out and helping Rogue and the others study for a spelling competition is the very image of domiciliation. He's such a lone wolf, usually, so it's great to see him being social while still being in-character.

Somehow, Logan-in-a-tree 'helping' with spelling is adorable. This is 98% of cute-little-girl-in-lap-with-book, but it's completely in character for him to whittle an amazingly complicated little toy while adding his own impressions to the spelling match in progress.
