it's a bummer you abandoned this. it has a lot of potential
Eidyllia chapter 2 . 11/29/2015
I've already read all the three chapters and this is probably my favorite one! You depicted Edmund in such a wonderful way! I'm glad the fox understood Edmund was just trying to save him! And when Ed was searching for the butterfly I held my breath!
Someone needed to write something about the poor fox and butterfly and I'm happy you did!

"Sometimes you amaze even me" Aww, this line is very good!

Please, update and post the forth chapther soon!
Eidyllia chapter 3 . 11/29/2015
I'm in love with this story and I hope with all my heart you'll continue this since in your profile you've written you won't abandon any stories...
I like stories which focus on brotherly bonding between Peter and Edmund and this is such a good fic and the chapter ending is killing me...
Pretty please!
WordsmithingArtist chapter 3 . 3/7/2015
Please tell me that there's more to this story, because I really like it. Edmund is my favorite Narnian character.
pinksugarrush chapter 2 . 8/31/2014
Oh, this is so cute! Edmund is such a sweet boy!

He was just so remorseful when he found that fox! And, on when he searched so frantically for the butterfly made my heart go out to him. Good thing that Aslan was able to bring them both back to life. I really like the words that Aslan gave him. "Edmund, sometimes you amaze even me."

When I saw that line, I was like "awww."

So cute!
SnowflakesandMozart chapter 2 . 7/15/2014
I enjoyed your story, particularly the fox becoming Edmund's first knight. You are right, I think, that it would take time for Peter and Edmund to rebuild their relationship and that the process would be awkward.

Just a small correction; you write that Peter held Edmund "reflexatively" when Aslan jumped up the cliff. The actual word is "reflexively". I don't know if anyone else has pointed this out, but I thought you would want to know.

I also love the image of Edmund cupping the butterfly in his hands. The White Witch turning the butterfly to stone is one of the most striking images of the movie for me. I had wondered if Aslan would restore the butterfly, and I am glad you wrote this story. I only wish I had any artistic skill so I could draw that picture for you.

Awwwwe. Poor Peter! Please review. Your story's really unique :-)
Eun-Jung chapter 3 . 9/13/2012
So many emotions...there were tears, some fabulous bromance, a seeming-breakthrough, fighting, and then a cut-off. How terribly sad. But perhaps we will encounter something a little more hopeful in the next chapter, yes?

Yet again another fantastic installment by you. Your exploration of Edmund's feelings and his relationships with all those around him continues to stun this reader. I enjoy the dynamics you've captured and can't wait to see how this all continues as the years pass in Narnia. I'm most interested in Edmund's developing/imploding/morphing relationship with Peter, of course, but Edmund's growth as a king is the real hook. Therefore, I cannot wait to read more from you. Happy writing!
OXBastetXO chapter 3 . 8/12/2012
Very nice start to the story look forward to see what happens!
lifechiaroscuro chapter 3 . 6/6/2012
The note at the top kind of worried me, you know. But then I read through it, and went, 'Oh, wait. I think I'm worse.' ;)

Great fic so far! Hopefully the boys make up soon. As much as I love angst, I do like some bonding mixed in with it.

Caity :)
MCH chapter 3 . 6/5/2012
Read all chapters glad you updated as I would have hated to miss this.

Good relationships need to be worked at. Susan for realising her brother needed time together to sort themselves out to rebuild their relationship and to remind each other that they could each teach one another lessons and to realise that you never stop learning about someone.

Looking forwards to next chapter as Peter realises he needs to really listen and not assume he is listening. It often what a person doesn't say that can be just as important as what is actually been said in a conversation. A good lesson for a High King to learn. For Edmund to realise his views are important that his family and narnian's care and trust him to do the right thing and that as a King he will be watched and that how he behaves is important.

Great.
EbonyWing chapter 3 . 6/5/2012
Really great chapter!

I'm so glad you're updating again!

Poor Ed, but it's true you don't get over something like that so easily. I'm looking forward to see where this goes! :)
