story like most of the Spock Kirk stories I have read they continued on write more! live Long and Prosper

Ok when Jim kissed Spock and the link flared back to life, I literally fist pumped. I loved this soooo much. It's almost 3:00 in the morning and I should probably sleep but I'm not gonna. I couldn't. I am so happy to have found this and I love it so much.

I love the style of narration you've got going here. It really fits the kind of quirky psyche that Jim has.

And, you know, I was squeeing at the end, even though I knew what was coming.

So, all in all, I loved it. Wonderful job.

I've not read that much Star Trek slash fan fiction so far. Most of what I've read about Spock and Kirk has been so bad I almost was going to give up on it. But then I came across this gem and you renewed my faith in this pairing.

I loved McCoy's insinuation that he had a few unkind thoughts about the Spock Uhura pairing. Oh man, so do I. I grew up worshipping Nichelle Nichol's graceful passionate yet professionally reserved version of Uhura, so the reboot version of Uhura grates on my last nerve. I think she is a clingy and a pale imitation of the original. The original would never keep trying to suck Spock's face off and nag him about their relationship. Uhura should have more respect for his Vulcan reserve than that.

I loved Jim here. You did him justice and didn't turn him into a fangirlly marshmallow version of himself. He's still Jim Kirk, starship captain.

This was such a good story! Every element in this fic just seemed to mesh perfectly. Great job!

That was a nicely sophisticated mind-meld story. I especially enjoyed the characterizations of Uhura and Bones - they were fun.

Oh my goodness, this is an incredible story! Thanks so much for posting! I always loved mind meld stories and it really would be impossible to keep one's feelings completely hidden from someone telepathic. And its clear that Spock loves Kirk's dynamic mind just as much if not more than anything else about him. Kirk is Spock's Alexander; he'll follow him anywhere - to the end of the known universe and back.

Two words: Effin' Awesome.
