Great one-shot! I love Gai and Kakashi's friendship. Also, I wish there would've been another chapter explaining what is so sad about that day, even though most people can probably tell it's the day his dad died.

I normally don't review after a story's been completed for so long, but I can't help it. I think you did a wonderful job with the relationship between Kakashi and Gai, and how Gai is there to help Kakashi get over hardships even if the other doesn't realize or necessarily want it. I think that's what makes their friendship so great in canon. You did a wonderful job on this with all the characters and emotions, and I enjoyed reading it a lot. Great job and keep up the good work!

Hey Orodruin, I've taken a general break from fanfiction over the last two months, but now I'm back! I LOVE this story! It was the day that Kakashi's dad died right? Gai is a great rival, and I really how this story showed that. Definitely adding this to my favorites! Well, on to the your other stories!

omg, i take it that this is the day that sakumo commited suicide? well i'm glad that gai saw through him; he really is a sweet guy and quite perceptive despite his outgoing weirdness. kakashi is actually quite lucky to have him tag along. huh, that's kinda like naruto and sasuke now that i think about it, lol. the circles in life are ironic. or maybe it's just kishimoto and his ninja universe. good story, love it just like all the rest! have fun on your vacation!
