A more appropriate word would be Enishi-kun or otouto.

Enishi was Tomoe's otouto (little brother). Anyway i love the fic so much, though Kenshin was such a jerk but at least he changed and i'm so glad Sojirou was not a bad guy.

The use of Japanese terms or language sometimes are necessary. It is ok to use kunoichi, okashira, gi, hakama, furisode, koishii, busu, or other simple terms, but here you used many Japanese language way too far. I am afraid it makes the flow detached and perhaps some expressions were not used properly.
Despite those things, I love your writing and your ability of story telling amazed me.

Still, to imagine Kenshin throwing Kaoru's doll over the window is amusing *lol

Wait wait wait. So Kaoru publicly humiliates Kenshin in front of many important people and in the end she's the one everyone is feeling sorry for and Kenshin is the one to whom gets yelled at like everything is his fault and no one else's. Yes, he was to blame as well, but so was she because it was her fault that things fell apart as badly as they did and yet everyone acts like she's this person of pure perfection who can do no wrong and is just a victim, while supposedly Kenshin is the only one who is wrong and who did something wrong although she did just as much harm as he did. Am I the only one who thinks that's kind of crooked?

A very well thought out fic. I couldn't put myself to stop reading it until I finish so I ended up reading all 19 chapters in one sitting. Hahaha! I love how you deviated towards the original Swan Princess plot yet still manage to keep the general theme there. Well done!

I especially love the fact that Kenshin happened to be the less mature in the relationship. A real welcome difference from canon.

Nooo.. Kaoru must kick ass.. How dare he take away her awesomeness rights? Himura should not hold that much sway in her decisions. Besides, what Kenshin doesn't know won't hurt him.

Hmm.. Quite some heavy drama here. Not to be mean on anything, but I think guns and bombs are hard to win against with just swords.. Now if we started assassinating figure heads then, that would be something else. It would be just like old times! XD

Kenshin's quest to impress Kaoru with his manly ways doesn't seem promising at all.. romantically speaking that is.. now if we consider the humor ..then that would be quite a spectacle! XD

I still don't know how people in fall for the Seven Minutes in Heaven. It's fun and all, but really, won't it be nice to not have a waiting audience that's waiting for you to finish the time limit? *shrugs* I guess I'll have to blame it on hormones and whatnot.
