  KatieLyn chapter 11 . 5/20/2016 Wonderful wrap up. But I wonder how Kirk got over his freak out over the crew knowing about him and Spock to the point he could commit to marriage. Unless of course the freak out was the residual effect of Psi 2000. I think it was and I kind of missed that point somehow. |

| KatieLyn chapter 8 . 5/20/2016 This is my second reading of this story and I can remember if I've commented before. But this chapter makes me sad for Spock. If I were him I would resent being reacted to like a dirty little secret. I would end the sexual relationship and try to bring it back to epic besties if at all possible. And I would seek a sexual relationship with someone after the five year mission is over. Being a Vulcan, Spock has plenty of time to find that sort of connection. He won't age at the same rate as a human and five years is nothing to him, with so many exciting scientific discoveries to make. I really wouldn't appreciate Jim trying to make me break with my Vulcan culture and practices so much in private and then freak out when my controls slip. It's unfair and distracting and illogical. Poor Spock. |

You got the mix of canon and originality right and your characterisation of Spock and Kirk was especially good. I hope you do some more Star Trek writing if this is the quality you are capable of. |
