Seriously; this just gave me so many feels. The story itself is wonderfully written; I love your varied use of descriptive words (instead of just using the same adjectives over and over again). Throwing in those interjections also added to the thought process of Kirk, and were very appropriately used. All in all, I enjoyed this one-shot immensely. The relationship between Spock and Kirk is so amazing, and you definitely did it justice. Adding this brotherly aspect to their friendship is wonderful.

This story is quite unique, and I enjoyed it very much. Jim and Spock are very in character, and I liked the banter between the two of them.

Interesting litttle story, don't know how I came across it but I like it. The story of Kirk in the lake as a young child sounds startling similar to a story I have about Kirk's childhoos that isn't even published. *shrugs* Oh well coincidences.

Just a very funny and touching story. Jim being seasick and spilling his guts to Spock who's not Bones, who's unconscious. That's all I can think of to say.

Wow! On account of I've never seen a Star Trek episode in my life, I did not expect to like it... but I did! I feel like I know the characters much better than when I started, and I can imagine their voices after your descriptions. And the detailed descriptions are lovely. Few things better than such clear imagery. Nice work! And funny idea with the killer vomit... hey, there's got to be SOME plus side to getting tortuously seasick, right?

I really enjoyed this. Would you consider adding another chapter that takes place in sick bay. With Jim and Bones recuperating together?
