Hey great story, really enjoyed it and glad it flashed on on the update thing :) love the OC's and they're very well fleshed out. Also the characters are really well done and don't worry about the jean bashing. Can't wait for the next update :)

I admit I haven't read much X-men, and I barely remember the series, but I still have a fondness for the characters, especially Rogue.

Since I started reading X-men Evo fanfic, this is the first story I've found that takes on the challenge of being fair to the individual characters, as well as paints the conflict between groups in shades of grey instead of black-and-white.

No-one is purely good, and I am so happy that we get to see just how manipulative a powerful telepath like Xavier can actually be, in order to promote his own version of 'the Greater Good'.

I really like Blight, despite him not being the sanest individual, and his understanding on how to tackle teenagers and their behaviour, which in turn reveal the depts of his charges instead of merely painting them as 'the bad crowd' as is a common phenomenum.

I can see this story hasn't been updated since April 2011, and I understand both writers block and loosing interest in a story - the only one I've posted on is on an unplanned hiatus at the moment and has been for a long while now - but I hope you will continue it at some point. I, for one, would love to read more.

Other than that, just thank you for sharing this. It's a great read.

Amongst my searching for decent X-Men Evolution (Rogue centric fics), I count myself extraordinarily lucky to have come across Divergent-X. You have laid out a well written, extremely thought out and most importantly an intriguing story. I am enjoying the alluded shades of grey and the character development you have presented as you take us through Season One. I look forward to an update when you choose to revisit your tale. I do hope it won't be too long from now!

Perfect chapter :). I would love to see the brotherhood vs the X-men. The x-men are strong, but the brotherhood is equally as strong if not stronger. Should I expect an update any time soon? If not I'm willing to wait. Looking forward to your next update :D

Glad to know that Rogue can feel normal human emotions well. Is she going to absorb Ms. Marvel's powers like she did in the comics? You might decide not to, but it gives rogue a fighting advantage if she doesn't have anyone's powers to absorb. Not like she'll need it when she eventually learns to fully control her powers. Rogue is just that awesome

I think introducing Evan Daniels is a bad idea. Introducing Pietro to the brotherhood is only a natural step but I hope this Evan guys won't take up the spotlight too much. Story time alreasy has to be split between Rogue, Blob, Avalanche, Toad, Blight and now Pietro. Too many characters just make the story more confusing.

It's good that their powers are developing, but Rogue never seemed to have absorbed physical states/behaviors of people she had touched in the comic series. Then again, this is AU, so I guess things are just different. But won't that be a hinderence in actual battle? Rogue can't be changing her clothes in the battle field all the time.

Erm one question? I think I might have read too fast and accidentally skipped some important information, but the x-men and brotherhood study in a high school for mutants even though they're enemies?
