Well, I'm glad you got your groove back. And none of the foreshadowed dangers of ch. 12 came to fruition, because everyone is safely back at school here in ch. 13.

In old movies and even modern TV shows, a criminal always picks up the phone to call his gangster buddies the moment the cops leave. It's easy for the cops to trace the call (or just listen in). In this chapter you have Snape send an owl to Narcissa before Lucius is even off the manor grounds. Gee, that's not suspicious at all. I won't be surprised if Lucius places a tracker on the owl and finds out the general vicinity of his wife and daughter. Hopefully, Narcissa doesn't leave her castle for 21 years. And hey, how crazy did it sound when she told Hermione that she might go back to Lucius after the kid is grown?

This Vows II has never been as well plotted or as well proofread as Vows I was, but I could cope without complaint, glad for the continued AU characters' story. However, this chapter has Snape being stupid (Albus is forbidden, but Lucius has access to Snape's manor? Snape is going to postpone blocking Lucius from the wards even after Lucius has visited and threatened?). Also, Snape flat out lies to the children and says he's instantly blocked Lucius from the wards, when in reality, he might get around to it tomorrow, if it is convenient. Also, Snape has broken his vow to protect the kids. He's not even trying, which seems extremely out of character. If you are just making false drama for lack of real plot ideas, or if you are letting someone else ghost write this, or if you are cranking out words just to troll for reader responses, SHAME ON YOU. By the way, check for adieu when you mean ado. Check for good when you mean well.

LOL. Hermione' got some nerve trying to tell Snape how to do his job. Snape was pretty mild when he wanted Hermione to sit down and shut the fuck up. He should be quoting Rene Artois from 'Allo 'Allo: "You stupid woman!"

Hmm.. Not sure why Harry had to beg Sirius to accept Severus.. In a story where Harry Potter really is James Potter's son, sure.. But in this story where he just got reacquainted with Sirius? Where Sev is his real father? Not really.

Harry doesn't remember Sirius. Sure, he's the best mate of a man who tried to save his life as a baby, he's his godfather.. yeah.. But really, there isn't anything substantial enough between the two of them for Harry to seek the man's approval. It's alright to be considerate, but basing on the conversation that followed, there was a great deal of disrespect that should not have been easily tolerated. Yet, there was even begging. Why must he beg Sirius for his understanding? He ended up resorting to beg Black. If Sirius was my godfather I just met and he started insulting my father who's the world to me.. Well (insert rude remark here) him! No one sullies my parent's name. I actually expected Harry to blow up on Black for the insult. Righteously and even irrationally defending his father's name like a true Gryffindor.

All of a sudden HP and SB are all chummy.. and Harry's gotten attached to Sirius in a blink of an eye. It's as if Harry's suddenly starved for affection and he's seeking it from his godfather who he only just met. A man who tormented his beloved father as a child. Canon!Harry, I'd understand, but again, not this one. XD

The family fluff at the end appeased me though. Happy Snapes! :D
