| suerum chapter 1 . 7/19/2009 This was lovely. My Mom and I and various other people over time used to play Scrabble and it made me very nostalgic for that. My sister is like Abby as she uses all these words that garner great scores and are esoteric and all you can do is glower at her as you spell out 'happy' or some such (though with the h and y in it and placed strategically...). I liked the solidarity, the feel of family, Kate's presence was introduced so organically. Then to wrap everything up-Gibbs comes in exactly as he would and saves the day by still preserving the emotion of the letters on Tony's tile holder. Very enjoyable read! |

The tale grabbed me right from the KATE voices,the characters,the thoughts,emotions,angst,... ending with Gibbs making the word .It's amazing how much meaning you can load into Gibbs sitting down in the empty chair... |
