Ah, fantastic. Wonderful imagery...it creates a very intense, urgent atmosphere. I am hoping you will continue this one.

I'm so excited for another chapter! There's going to be another, right? I certainly hope so, because this isn't nearly enough to satisfy me.

I really enjoyed this. The descriptions were wonderful and deep. The connection between Arnold and Helga is very nice and believable, which always makes for a great story. I liked how he was watching her, because you know he does- she is his own personal puzzle, after all. And I can totally relate to how Arnold feels, watching her, because I do the exact same thing at group events. I see someone and characterize them and then tend to, ahem, stare... lol. People watching is always rather fun. -

Anyway, superb job. Loved it! I really liked the last line, too. Hope to see more of this soon!

The imagery you use is incredible. The setup is pretty simple here, and I like how you put Arnold and Helga into a situation where they may end up having to talk with each other, possibly while feeling the effects of spiked beverages.

No worries about your other stories, I think we can wait. :)
