Wow wow wow that's fucking amazing and I so fucking want a sequel!
That was an amazing book, really great. We don't usually see books from Alice or Jasper's POV telling of life before Philadelphia, and this one made a nice change. However, it would be better if you add a chapter or two about their life after this, too, because that's the part most people want to read.

Why wouldn’t her sister call her Mary Alice? Also, I also called you out on the coined term “epilepsy” but I researched it and did find out that term was founded before Mary Alice was born so you’re good.

Juthere add that you state it is the older vampire who was more skilled at fighting and James could not get pass to Alice, then in the same chapter you state that James was more skilled at fighting?
I will add though this is the best story I have read about Alice and Jasper, it is brilliantly written

I can't believe I finally found this fic! I remember reading it in FoForks back in 2011 and because of life I didn't have time anymore and ended up forgetting about it. I've been thinking about this story for the last few months, but couldn't remember the title nor the site it was on, just remembered it was a translation in a twilight fansite. But after almost one hour of google search I finally found another blog that listed all the fanfiction FoForks used to post and I got a title! FoForks does not host any of those fics anymore but I'm so glad it is still here. I'm gonna start reading this as soon as I can and hope my 12-year-old self wasn't wrong by liking this so much, it was the first fanfic I ever read(didn't even know it wasn't canon LOL) and I used all my computer time to read it.

Thank you so much for writing this, it opened up an entire world for me. I'm addicted to fanfiction to this day and I can give you credit for that. I hope you see this, since your profile hasn't been updated in a while, and if you don't I hope you feel in your heart all the admiration I have for you 3

question...what happened to Herman? That old stock womans from new York's son. Alice was supposed to look out for him. sure he didn't take her advice but she couldve easily keep him off the streets!

You have envisioned perfectly Alice's feelings leading up to that wonderful meeting with Jasper. After all that she had seen, all that she knew would happen, still she didn't know anything about what would happen after they met. I'm glad you didn't stop here.

I have been having a wonderful time rereading this story. There have been so many great moments. But this chapter I simply have to comment on. The vision of Alice standing in front of that school thinking of who she had been and what she had accomplished is so moving. I could say more, but I'm just too choked up!

I'm glad I found you here. I read both Singularity and Coalescence at Ramblings and Thoughts, and I loved them. I was disappointed that you didn't finish Coalesce. I finally thought to look here, and here you are! And Coalescence is complete! But after so long, even though I remember some of it, I have to read Singularity again. I'm sorry it took me so long.

THIS SHOULD BECOME A BOOK. OR A SERIES. OR A MOVIE. You have SUCH a gift for writing! This story was an absolute joy to read. This is my favorite Jasper/Alice fanfiction

This was so sweet, I loved this story! Alice feels so much more realistic now. I love all the characters you've created for her past. Fantasic!

Wow, what an superb story! You did a magnificent job of writing Alice's life from her point of view, and it was incredibly realistic and believable: from the desolated heartache of an abandoned daughter, to the sublime joy of a realized destiny, and everything in between! You had me totally engaged along with Alice's emotions in each different scenario, and you wrote them so genuinely (so much so that it actually made me skip past the killing scenes), but the two reunions at the end with Joe & Lizzy, and Alice & Jasper made my heart absolutely soar!

All of your OC's were expertly written, but most especially Myrtle, Edwina, Hans, Emily & her family, and the New York covens. And all the little nods to history and geography were an excellent touch.

The epilogue with Jasper was both poignantly heart-wrenching and heartwarmingly hope-filled, and ended on the perfect note.

Well done, keep up the good work, and thank you for sharing your God-given gift for writing! I look forward to reading the sequel!

P.S. Both the story and chapter titles were perfectly fitting (and some gave me a good laugh!).

Oh, that was so sad, I really liked Paul and his coven... although it was kinda expected storywise, I am very sad that you killed them off... poor Alice... one of the things that I really like in your story is all the new, original characters... and your portrayal of vampire life in New York has a "true" ring to it ... Great and very realistic portrayal of Alice backstory! :)
