This is really well done. It feels like canon. And oh, Gen: such a troublesome child and he grew up to be quite the troublesome adult, too.

…Geezus, I'm so sad this hasn't been updated in so long. It's got all the characters down perfectly, and since I myself can't write Eugenides to save my life, I applaud you. It's well-written and clever; I can almost see this as something MWT would write herself as a prequel to The Thief.

I'm in love with this story, and it's only got two chapters and no updates in over a year. *sigh*

Both chapters were BRILLIANT! Great characterizations. I especially liked the first part where she names him.

I really, really like this story. I would love to see more of it. You have a very 'Gen' way of writing. It's very good. Please write more, and please write soooooooon.
