awesome flow with the story. however, where is Ron and Hermione. I think those two should have had a mention because it was Bellatrix who tortured Hermione and at the same time (yet not in the same way)tortured Ron. I think Bill would have said something to his parents while the trio was at shell cottage (during evacuating them to autie whatshername).That was my only question.

I actually really like this! I was in an emo mood myself, so it fit just perfectly. I love your use of parallelism throughout the whole thing. Very powerful! Some of the paragraphs definitely gave me chills...

On another note, that's funny you should mention it being your first anti-Bella fic... when I first read the books, I HATED her, but lately (especially thanks to the talents of Helena Bonham Carter and my weird fascination with the bad guys) I have been completely enamoured with her! So I felt dirty too... ha. I think I'm going to go read your other (not Anti-Bella!) stories now!

Okay, first thing, this is a GREAT character study. Not a lot of authors can pull off a fic so long that covers a single action, but this was enjoyable to read. I especially liked when Molly regretted that she wasn't letting Neville take care of Bellatrix. I also liked the very appropriate description of Tonks as "colorful", and the paragraph about Fred was incredibly touching.

There are a few things you could work on, though. Firstly, I was confused by the passage about Charlie... who did he lose? And where were Percy and Bill and Ron? I can think of more reasons for them than I could for Charlie- although I liked that you included him. Also, the overall flow of the story could have been better, even though all of the paragraphs were very well-written. A stylistic change I'd make would be to change the order of the paragraphs. For example, I would have put all of the Weasleys first, then the Tonks/Lupins, then the Longbottoms, and finally Sirius and Harry.

On that note, I would like to refer you to a creative roleplaying site called Rocky Mountain International (rmimagic .com). It's a great place to work on these things and have a lot of fun in the HP sort-of-universe too. You should definitely take a look. :-)

Just wow. You successfully made me feel guilty for loving Bellatrix so much - that's how great your story is. Beautifully done. The weight of all the evil this woman has done and the lives she's torn apart never really settled with me until reading it here. FANTASTIC.
