Pivotal scene IMO was Rhett eavesdropping when Scarlett was telling Ashley she's in love with Rhett ... Made me wonder if Rhett saw Ashley out and about then decided to follow him to see what was what. So glad both men heard her true feelings clearly stated. You told an engaging story!

I liked the general idea and outline of your story however I found it a bit disjointed. Like you wanted to cram in too much in too little space. Skipping some of the things that might have made their feelings a little more intense.

You had some really good bits though - like this one: Scarlett studied his face for some sign of how he was feeling. But he was maintaining his mask, the one he wore when he didn’t want to show his feelings. Somehow, his effort to hide his feelings gave her hope. He’s confused…unsettled. Maybe there is a chance after all…

I hope you don't take my comment to harshly, it is just that your writing style is normally more "whole and rich" - so to speak :)

Extremely nice and well-written. I like the way you incorporated your prompt, I like the idea behind that. Oh, and I particularly enjoyed this line "Your love carried us through the first part of our marriage." because it sums it up so perfectly.

I liked it, but I like anything that you write, of course as long as it's about Rhett & Scarlett. You are talented enough to do justice to just about anything. Okay my one criticism: spelling Belle's last name...it's Watling, no "h". Oh yea, I forgot it's Melly, for some reason many people spell it with an "ie" MM used a "y"...okay, I'm done now. :o)

Scandalous! Married people doing naughty things, well, I never! Ha Ha. I loved it. It was funny and sunny by the end. And the end had to have a place to come from, hence the beginning, which was very, very good. Thank you.

Hey, don't be so hard on yourself. I, for one, thought this was wonderful. Full of suspense and not a quick, tidy reconciliation. You had me wondering there, but it all worked out in the end. Lovely!
