Guest chapter 5 . 6/10
Why would anyone need to cut down on MASH episodes?
pavook chapter 17 . 5/13
In a way, Ron is a worse and more crap person than Dudley ever was. He could at least claim the benefit of the doubt about his upbringing. Ron has no excuse and git really doesn't even begin to cover the scope.
On another hand, his antagonistic actions were the most relatable ones from all the bad guys and we could see his motives. I think he easily toppled Tom, Albus and Draco.
pavook chapter 16 . 5/13
I think Dani shouldn't be able to tune the radio, magic is disruptive to electronics, batteries and all sorts of wave signals.
pavook chapter 15 . 5/13
Technically or theoretically, Tom could have created 3 Horcruxes in this setting. His spirit didn't survive anywhere near his Diary, so it's possible there were 2 other objects that were used to hold his soul in the world.

For TheGoldMan comment, they do not know Tom Riddle is Voldemort. Nobody told them. The only thing mentioning that name is the Diary without any alive lead to give connection. People who know about the connection of diary name and Voldemort had not time yet to investigate it and probably have no idea of the award itself too.
pavook chapter 13 . 5/13
I've been wondering. The kids' acts don't add up to normal behavior.
You can stress enough main trio, having a bond and all the experience influencing them, but others do not have such an easy wall to get behind.
They are mostly 12, possibly 13. You can have Susan as an early exception as someone is always a bit ahead in development, but it feels like the author is trying to pass such behavior as the norm. Especially muggles here do not act much as typical of their age. Convoluted speech and interest in dating? It feels like they play themselves 2 years older or something.

It's still nice, but it feels like they are entirely too young for the events.
pavook chapter 8 . 5/12
I'm not aware of Harry being American. 70 degrees Fahrenheit in Florida? That's the beginning of a sauna temperature for me and most of the world who measure in Celsius.
pavook chapter 3 . 5/12
I have a high opinion of your slashing people method. It's far more satisfying to peel down your opponent in a calm collected manner without getting the other party any easy way out.
In far too many fanfics Harry is an arrogant prick, cussing insults with swear words everywhere yelling them out into people's faces. Then show only the 'bad' side having issues with their previous action, but never the Hero Harry. In reality when he could have been challenged into a duel or lead into being charged for slander.
pavook chapter 1 . 5/12
I disagree with the story plan of only one Horcrux. Diary was clearly something Tom has done when very young. If you wanted to change facts from the original I would recommend going for at last 2 more Horcruxes created later in life. It feels unintuitive for him to stop after just one, what is failsafe for death when you could have 2. He had decades to make more.
Tracey Young chapter 17 . 4/29
Brilliant! Thanks.
