History: Miki Sunshine was born and raised on Valencia Island with her parents and two older sisters where she had lived all her life. She spent her childhood playing near the beach, watching her older sister Marina fish for Pokémon, climbing palm trees and swimming in the ocean with her family.
Miki met and befriended a young boy named Tracey Sketchit when she was in Nursery School and they spent their days getting to know each other. She had been traveling on her Pokemon journey since she had turned 10. Her first Pokemon was a male Pichu (which is now a Raichu), given by Professor Ivy. Pichu wasn't really fond of Miki at first. Pichu did not want to do anything but run away from her, despite Miki's pleading and begging to help her capture a wild Pokemon. However, after she risked her own life to protect him from a brutally raging typhoon, which destroyed her home when it hit Valencia Island, she had won his trust, and Pichu had been loyal to his trainer ever since.
As time rolled by like the waves of the ocean, Pichu had finally evolved into a Pikachu. When Pikachu sensed that Miki was in danger when she was being attacked by a ferocious swarm of Beedrill, he evolved into a Raichu to protect her.

Personality: Miki is a very compassionate, friendly, gentle, kind-hearted, down-to-earth and caring person who is capable of understanding other people's feelings as well as the feelings of Pokémon. She always trusts her instincts, her heart, mind and her soul. She is fun, sweet, cheerful, outgoing, sociable, inspirational, creative, athletic, but she can sometimes be a bit tad unpredictable, talkative and hesitant

Accomplishments: Winner of the Orange Grand Festival Cup. She had received all of the Official Orange League Badges, but she was defeated in the Orange League Tournament. Miki also had received all of the badges of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova. She also made it in the Top 8 of the Kanto League, and Top 4 of the Silver Conference of the Johto League.

Other information: She had been earning badges and competing in Pokemon Leagues, but when she was introduced to Pokemon contests, she thought that she would give it a try. Her Aunt Luanna owns a Hotel and an official Pokemon Orange League gym on Kumquat Island. She also has an Uncle Aidan who is a firefighter, has a team of Wartortles that puts out the fires.

Nice story so far, I like how the plot has been going. Anyways, here's an OC for you to use.

Name: Felix Storm

History: Everyone but him in his family work for Team Rocket, they tried to bribe him to join with a Sneasel, but instead he took it and fled. He stays on the run from Team Rocket, while trying to participate in the pokemon league.

Wave (Starmie): Serious, breaks up the fights between Swift and Zephyr, and has a slight psychic link with Omega and it's trainer.

Zephyr (Female Aerodactyl): Motherly and tries to hurt Swift when ever he flirts with her (Although it's obvious, that she's kind of fond of him).

Other: Takes advantage of his party's inherent speed to confuse his opponent, has a deep connection to his pokemon, and hates to see pokemon that are being abused or mistreated.

*Appearance: Wears a long white labcoat over black baggy cargo pants. Wears a deep green Tshirt inside the labcoat with weather pattern designs on the sleeves. Wears white sneakers. Cargo pants are covered in pockets. On his left wrist is a nano isitris, a wrist computer. Has messy unruly white hair (was blond but became white after prolonged sun exposure), tanned complexion and is in good shape physically. Has a goofy smile, bright green eyes thanks to contact lenses.

*Personality: Ironically his name means White so it matches his hair. He is an optimistic goofy walking disaster. Were it not for his Pokemon, he should literally be dead. He is from Fortree in Hoenn, and spent his life growing up around the Weather Institute, so he dreams of being the expert on the weather. His ambition is to find Kyogre/Groudon/Rayquaza and study there abilities and understand how they affect such a wide area. Finds something good about everything, and cant help but express his optimism. As for the walking disaster part...Were Shiro to walk on a path and kick a pebble...chances are that pebble will roll down a hill, hit a bigger pebble etc etc till a boulder causes a crack to appear in a dam, thus causing said dam to break and for a tidal wave of water to come crashing down on Shiro. And shiro would just laugh and say he needed a shower anyways.

Battle/ Contest Style: While he is not a trainer, he knows how to battle, but gets distracted easily when elemental moves are used, as he tries to record the differences/similarities on his nano Isitris. Thus he tends to use moves that affect the weather, and harmonise with it.

Goal: To become the nations Weather expert. Meet and study Kyogre/Groudon/Rayquaza and the three johto dogs of thunder fire and water.

*Pokemon:

Absol, Male, Nicknamed Xavier (cause it sounds like Saviour lol) Xavier was unofficially Shiro's first pokemon. It was constantly attracted by the disasters surrounding Shiro, and decided the best way he could prevent natural disasters was to babysit Shiro. Constantly has to rescue unfortunate people caught in Shiros destruction. His main movelist consists of Protect, Magic Coat (for protection), RazorWind and IceBeam (as too many incidents involved water). He is the responsible one. Cold to outsiders, as he feels they will get hurt.

Castform, Female, Nicknamed Cloudster (for obvious reasons). His main source of study. Uses weather changing moves frequently, so an umbrella is useful. Is a prankster that loves to make it rain and then sunny just to give you a cold. Enjoys battles using her weatherball, and loves the fact that she nearly always has a type advantage.

Psyduck, Male, Nicknamed Dexter. Is unusual in that he only gets a headache in weather moves vicinity. Shiro thinks this is related to his cloud nine ability and is researching this extensively. Dexter has a split personality. in clear normal days, he is happy go lucky, an optimist, but depending on the weather, his personality changes to accomadate it. hail icy cruel. rain pessimistic grouch, Sunlazy and selfish.

Future Pokemon:

Relicanth (for study purposes, ie how weather affected pokemon in the past)

*History: As mentioned above, grew up in Fortree, spent his life in the weather institute where he learned how to use the various equipment, but also the unorthodox methods of predicting the weather by just staring absently into the sky. His pockets are filled with testubes and equipment. Parents work in the furniture shop in fortree, and has an older sister apprenticed to the Gym leader of Fortree.

Anything else : Is still a student so required to document all his findings. Will only become saddened when present in polluted areas. Muk/grimer are one of the few pokemon that Shiro will go out of his way to eradicate, swiftly and brutally.

Personality: Most people believe that Rachel is quiet and serious girl, but if you get her mad, she'll do anything to get you back. Rachel is very serious and can be spunky when she needs to. She cares deeply for her friends and brother.

History: Rachel really lives in Johto with her father, step mother, and two older step sisters, but she decided to come to Hoenn so that she and her twin brother, Matthew(who lives with mother in Rustboro) can travel together.

Job: Coordinater

Pokemon: A Cyndaquil (won't evolve), Wurmple(to be Beautifly, and Shroomish(to be Breloom)

Future Pokemon: Skitty(to be Delcatty), Shuppet(to be Banette), An egg that hatches to Azurill, and a Kecleon.

I hope you can start making your chapters longer again. :) Despite lack of length, I still liked this one 'cause it was so actiony (word?). Just one thing, and I'm sorry if you find it offensive, but Tom seems to win a lot. I don't think he's lost once in the whole story so far. All I'm trying to say, is that it isn't exactly realistic for a trainer who's just started off to be so adept at strategy and battling. That's everything. Can't wait for an update!

I was worried you'd left us. This was a good chapter, and it's nice you don't speed up to the plot. A lot of good stories are ruined like that.
