I know this story is fairly old, but I think it deserves another review so I'm going to do so anyways. :)

I liked Gaara and I thought you did Karura very well. I could see a bit of each child in her and even though I would have done this story differently, it was enjoyable and certainly one of the better Karura and Gaara fics I've seen.

The part with the sake glass had me busting a gut! Too bad this doesn't happen in the manga! Gaara needed something like this, he really did! Poor Baki! He just can't catch a break can he? This was so sad!

You're right, Karura acted a lot like Temari. You're really good at writing stories about Karura. I hope that you keep writing about her.

Yay! I really liked it. I don't think I've read a fic with Gaara getting a chance to meet his mother I think the characterization is good. Karura seemed like someone who would be feisty and stubborn, and absolutely disapprove of what Yashamura did to Gaara. Though one thing was unclear to me: when exactly did this occur? After the Konoha invasion, but before Shippuden?

Also, I noticed you didn't mark this as complete, so is it part of a series? Please say yes...There are still unanswered questions, like what was Karura trying to tell Gaara?
