Wow! The first time I've ever seen Dumbledore be a parental figurehead in ANY HP fanfic! Lol, Harry just isn't getting a break at all from caring adults around him now.

Something really nice about this story is the amount of adult mature behavior development being trained into Harry and by extension Ron and even Hermione. They are young adults and despite canon's portrayal of James Potter's odd, supposedly "growing up", reliable humans are slowly molded, rarely suddenly changing for the better.

Interesting. Most fics do not have the complexity of character to portray Lucius as a sympathetic person while still being loyal to the Dark Lord.

I think that Severus is being extremely long-suffering and Remus needs to ensure Sirius considers the affect on Harry of any pranks played on Snape.

I like having a scene that doesn't just repeat the canon scenarios. Severus listening to Sirius and even considering his tale...for Harry's sake is touching.
