Well, I finished Season 3. Well done. This season was quite a good one and I enjoyed going through Scully's POV for many of my favorite episodes, paticularly Wetwired. Hope it wasn't weird getting into the mind frame of paranoia! It makes sense how often the deaths of Missy and even still Deep Throat enter her mind regularly. I was really surprised at how much my dark sense of humour came out for the Quagmire scenes. I expected to feel bad for Queequeg and Scully but I was a tad horrified to find myself laughing picturing poor Scully so out of it that she's trying to explain to Mulder that her dog was eaten and Mulder being Mulder while she is shell shocked.. I was like "why am I laughing? It's not funny". For a second I saw that whole absurd scene through Mulder's eyes. I love how she's slowly... Ever so slowly growing in attraction and love for Mulder without knowing exactly what it is yet, good stuff. This last chapter is good stuff between them. Season 4 will surely be intense. :-)

I liked how you wrote this chapter. It adequately described the feelings of discomfort that Scully as a woman would feel in a prison like that. I actually know it's perfect as I used to work in a federal mens' prison and I'm also a female as petite size as Scully herself, it's a vulnerable job, but I remember using Scully's outer mannerisms in order to appear calm, cool and collected while at work, alone with inmates. (Yes, alone!) Sometimes watching TV does have practical use for real life! This chapter brings back memories! Well written, as per usual! Looking forward to the rest of the great season.

I think Ch. 49 is out of place...it is for Jose Chungs but is in between Revelations and War of the Copros. Thanks for writing!

The third seasn was so great and it gives so much material. You really well took advantage of it. Great story.

Oh, god, I just have to say, this was hysterical. I mean, the exchanges themselves are hysterical, but having the added thoughts of Scully during the conversations just made it all the funnier. Between the dung beetles, the polish on the fork, and Queequeg, the "cheeky little shit" (you must have a dog or a cat, 'cause I can't count how many times I've said that exact phrase), I was struggling to stay silent in public. XD

I've been ever so slowly working my way through these fics, and after awhile I start feeling self-conscious about not dropping any reviews. So I am.

Just wanted to say a) thanks for somehow making the mytharc make sense. Part of me suspects CC was making it up as he went (especially later), but you make it make sense, especially given the flow. It's nice to think of TXF as a long, long narrative instead of just random MOTWs with sporadic chains of mytharc eps. I feel like now when I watch I can see continuity where before I didn't (and I think that's especially true for your s4, which I already read).

b) Thanks for pursuing Scully's faith, 'cause for me that's always been a barrier to understanding her character. I could never really understand the religious eps and why Squirrel and Moose always seemed to switch roles in them (I guess mainly 'cause I would be the Mulder in that situation), which is partially why I never liked them. But now I can appreciate them more in context, and I feel like that part of her that seemed so alien to me is much more accessible.

And finally, c) thanks for committing to this massive of a project and sticking with it, since I know at the moment you're working on s6. Canonical fics are hard to find, especially good ones, and it's nice to have what's basically the equivalent of a seven hundred page novel on each season. What's nicer is you keep the integrity of the characters and don't take every moment of the show as evidence for the obvious, unrequited lurve between Scully and Mulder. In some ways, the Scully and Mulder you present here are more complex than the ones of actual canon, and it's nice to read this kind of compliment and then go, "Hmm, I never thought of that. I want to watch that ep now." and then do it and go, "Wow, that is just awesome."

Anywhoodles, moving on. Eager to get to Jose Chung, because if there's any ep I can't figure out what the frig is going on (no matter how much I love it), it's that one.

Do tell me please, how do you td it that you remeber all thoes facts and plot them so nicly in your stories? Do you watch each episode and the write notes?

Oh snap! Dana is seriously getting too close to Mulder, or at least becoming to important to him and she is definitely starting to panic. She knows how important she is to him, well to an extent and she seems afraif of the strength of the bond they share. Poor Mulder, he has been hurt so much lately, unintentionally by Dana's hesitation and fear. Alas, I am excited to read the fourth season. Thanks again!

I do love dim sum! And San Francisco is fabulous. I lived there for a few years while doing my undergraduate work. I never fell in love with Palo Alto though. Stanford is a lovely campus, and I love their golf course.

I really enjoyed the last few chapters. I loved watching this episode and reading your take on it. The emotional bond you have createed between the pair is remarkable. I want want one of those relationships, sans near death experiences lol.
