this was one mega-long story but the easy narrating kept me reading it. makes me wonder why you couldn't just put the parts in different chapters, but oh well.

i like it that you don't overload the narration so it doesn't get boring reading it, and i like how you've handled the different characters' personalities, which i think you kept true to them.

i thought the scene of the fireplace, megatron and starscream was so funny. especially when starscream kept poking his head out of the fireplace just waiting for megatron to follow him, then calling him a "big, fat, ugly chicken" lol. that was unexpected :P

this looks like it could be made into a special TFs movie, that's how good i think it is.

very amusing, interesting and eye-catching.

BWAHAHAH! That's just hilarious! My favorite scenes were: the part with Skywarp, Starscream and the others in the Christmas party (Starscream slurring, Skywarp almost passing out and Spade's lil' nickname for Megatron... loved the part with Skywarp starting to laugh for some reason). The other part was with Soundwave in the... erm... 'Border' room ('Wave not having that digitized voice and all).

This was actually one of the first TF fics I ever read, so it's about time I review this, hm?

Some of it remains timeless fun - the Sweep bowling, for instance, or lines like "except maybe a tutu".

I have to admit, though, that the parts with Nightwind-the-character did take away from my enjoyment of this story. When I read that "alternate reality" bit with Nightwind and Prime, my first thought was, "And what is Elita, chopped liver?" Now, I probably shouldn't be too strict about this, given that this isn't meant to be a serious fic, anyhow, but I would have preferred if you would have at least offered an explanation for why Prime suddenly loves your character and not the character he's known to love. (Something like "he never met Elita in that reality" or "Elita is dead in that reality", or whatever.) I'm not demanding you have to like Elita-1, but her and Prime's relationship is a canon fact.

I'm not a fanatic who says "you must not write canon character/OC romance ever under any circumstances" (heck, I write that stuff myself), but (IMHO) to brush a characters canon love interest under the table without explanation in favour of a self-insertion character who already has Starscream's love in other parts of the fic is - a bit much, you know? But you probably know that already, this being one of your older works and all...

The emphasis on how Nightwind was "smaller and more delicate" in the part that was supposed to depict a reality in which she was happy also rubbed me the wrong way because (to me) it conveys the message that what a female person needs to be happy is to be delicate and have a big, strong man to cling to. Maybe we just have different ideas of the female role (or of happiness, for that matter), but that really rubbed me the wrong way.

But (like I said), since this was never meant to be a serious fic, I don't want to be too hard on you. It's an amusing little story, albeit an amusing story with flaws.

PMSL... I find any story funny when the characters are well acting out of character...and having Megsie gettin knocked off by a christmas tree and Starscreams reaction to it had me in stitches! ;-) Loved it! Pinkfuzzyone...

In this fic, it is mentioned that good 'ol Optimus was gonna bite the dust again. Does that mean a sequel will be coming out? If no, why not? If yes, will it be posted before the next turn of the century?

Y'know, I really should stop reading & reviewing your fics- Nightwind. I've got Homework to do. :) And yet, your fics are just too dern enteraining, they are. This little spoof was VERY well written, and funny, to boot. I particularly liked Sweep-bowling and Jazz's rant on what happens when Optimus prime bites it. The bit about Nightwind was somewhat iffy- I generally don't care much for OC femmes thrown in just for the sake of kissy-face stuff. Even still, she didn't detract too much from the story. Keep up the good work- It's not like I enjoy reading up on politcal science anyway. :)

Oh, this is too cute, even if my poor Jazz is...dead! *sniff, honk!* I liked it, 'Wind, I liked it very much. I think you know what my fave part was. ;)
