I freaking love this. This reminds me that sometimes, the shorter and simpler love stories are just as fulfilling as the complicated epics that I sometimes find. Little gems like this have always resonated with me in particular when it came to SasuSaku. I think they remind me of the good ole days when YouTube was young and I would try to find any SasuSaku material I could, whether it be art (Mitona will always reign queen supreme), AMVs, or the old Naruto “online chat” videos, my first taste of FanFiction before I found ffn some years later.
This was lovely, and I was able to really feel that Sasuke was in love, and it as real and strong but so simply portrayed. This helps so much when writing him. Writing him, much less writing him in love, is difficult, and this shows me how good it can be.

Very fun capture of a Naruto and Sasuke moment over their teammate. The conversation interjects a lot of their inner sentiment and I really enjoyed it. Referencing various details either about prior knowledge from years of knowing each other, or descriptions of other characters, really kept things anime-centric. Great short story in a delicious bite sized piece.

Definitely a nice chapter to review. I liked this short. It was chalk full of brimming emotion and some bite back humor to catch even the character of Sasuke off guard. Written even long ago, the antics and reasoning can still mostly go along with how it all ends. Perhaps you already saw into the future? Thanks for sharing!

I enjoyed the ending - don't think you could've ended it any better: wasn't too soon, wasn't too late. Leaves you with that well satisfied feeling of wanting more but being happy with what you got, you know?

Totally perfect! It suited SasuSaku to a T. Your descriptions were incredibly rich, very provocative, and Sasuke was so well-described!

To me, this felt so REAL ... meh, I'm not doing your work justice with this little ramble (yay, I made a little one ;)Definitely your best to date! I'm humbled by the undertones of emotion that pervade this chapter - they slip through so silently and so suddenly that you barely notice that they're there until the full impact of it hits you.

I forgot to mention in the previous chapter how much I'm enjoying your Naruto! The frustration he emanates while trying to get through to Sasuke is just priceless, his blunt way of simply saying what he wants is so true to character that I got jealous of how you manage to make all of these characters so believable!

The romance throughout the fic is wonderful, I must admit - it flows so naturally from one scene to another it doesn't even really feel like a fic! To me, it's kind of like little clips, little glimpses into someone's life ...

I love how Sasuke's trying, and I like how Sakura reacts to him! You've given her depth and maturity in dealing with him that she lacked in her younger years and for that I'm incredibly grateful D

Sasuke: ADORATION! I love how he sort of inadvertantly spilled his guts to Naruto - oh, and what a confession ;) I like how you're making him a one-woman kind of man here - never really thought about it that way before but now, I mean, it just totally makes sense!

'I was in shock' ... *rolls eyes* brilliant excuse, Sasuke, really! For a genius who's had girls throwing themselves at you from birth practically you really ARE a prize idiot when it comes to Sakura and love!

The descriptive words, 'sense-invading' especially jumped out at me - loved that! The way Sasuke is kind of dazzled but none of it is overdone - and using the Sharingan to dance! Nice touch D

I loved the last line - throughout the entire chapter it's kind of like Sasuke's losing the battle with himself, like he just can't resist anymore, and I like how Sakura's not above using the fact that Sasuke's wavering to her advantage ;)

Really really good chapter, imo. The flow, the pace ... I almost felt as if I was at the dance!

Again, good lolz with Kakashi and the whole 'road of life' comment, and Naruto being unable to dance! So fitting D

I don't think that it's twisted or awkward really, the beginning of the scene could've flowed a bit smoother, but you got the rhythm toward the middle, so it's all good!

I like 'girly' Sakura - you're really getting in her head with this chapter and I like that - I also liked how she could admit that she dressed up for Sasuke, that she still hoped...

*squeals* 'For you' that was just so perfect! *sighs* ...

I liked the interaction between Sasuke and Naruto here. It really makes it apparent that they are in fact friends, and that their lives could be semi-normal. Here and there I felt the flow was a little choppy, but nothing terribly distracting (but, hey, don't listen to me we know about my flow issues, hehe).

Sasuke and the whole 'I don't deserve her' thing was so perfect! That's exactly how I imagine him, should he ever get his head out of his ass and just admit that he likes her D

This whole one-scene-at-a-time thing is very effective! It really makes you crave for more!
