I don't expect you to continue this fanfic, but this is literally the best 'Alex live with wolf' fanfic I have ever read. Everyone has their problems and the enemy is interesting. This shits dope. I love this story as-is, but some resolution would be amazing! I love the way you write too, but I realize you're probably at a totally different stage of life now and asking for an update is probably too much to ask.

I know it's been like, I don't know, five years at this point and I'm not exactly hoping anymore that it might change but it would feel wrong not to drop by anyway since this is one of my favorites in the fandom.

Every year or so, I always end up back here for a re-read. Always ends up with me thinking up some sort of haphazard conclusion to get around the probably permanent cliffhanger, so there's always something new with every round lol.

You've really got a way of handling these characters that fits the whole base feel I always got from the AR series as a whole. It works and it's enjoyable and your style of writing is easy to follow, yet efficient and understandable
It's really nice.

Wherever you are, I hope life treats you well! Even if this won't be officially finished, know it's genuinely affected people in life, no matter if that sounds silly. It's been such a source of enjoyment and relaxation in tough times, been an actually memorable story that my mind keeps remembering at odd times and something I will probably never forget as this definitely affected the way I went with my own writing back in the day.

OK, I know you haven't updated in like 3 years, but this fic is ADDICTING. Seriously. I haven't been able to stop reading it for two days. I really hope you haven't given up on this!

This story is honestly so spectacular. Perhaps you’re no longer interested in continuing this story, but we would be ecstatic to see this continued. Your characterization of Alex is astounding. You’ve managed to create a suitably angsty, traumatized, and exasperated fourteen year old without making him terribly OC or cliché; he’s very appropriately dramatic. There is so much subtly in how you write him that I thing is just incredible. The same goes to Ben and K-Unit; your development of how these characters thing and have changed over the course of the story is perfect. And Jones! You’re depiction of how Jones battles her sense of morality with her sense of duty, how she balances her desire to protect her country with her desire to protect her agents, specifically Alex, who typically would fall into the former category.

And don’t get me started on the amount of thought and planning that you’ve clearly put into the espionage aspect. It has been SO MUCH FUN trying to put together the pieces and all the clues you’ve dropped over the course of the story to what’s actually going on, and you’ve kept it so so interesting and exciting!

Your piece really stands out in the sense that you’ve successfully incorporated and balanced several aspects: espionage, actual action and violence, Alex’s trauma and mental mechanisms, his past life, K-Unit and all the drama surrounding that, Sabine and Alex’s perspectives of romance, Alex’s school life... Most authors will just hone in on one or two aspects and their story is oversaturated with it. This, of course, is useful if you need a fix of whump or fluff, but you’ve incorporated all of those aspects and have still produced an incredibly engaging, addictive, and satisfactory story.

On that note, I refuse to believe that you’ll leave us (me) here. I’ve read this story a few times over the past year, and I can say with certainty that I am still very, very invested in what happens.

I came across this fic completely by chance and now it’s almost 6AM. I honestly think I have forgotten how to breathe. Everything about this story down to the smallest details is amazing and expertly crafted, and honestly more gripping that the majority of thrillers I’ve read.

The suspense from Wolf’s knowledge, but being unable to contact Ben, and then the whole Max Lacey thing. Will Alex even survive? Because with the way it’s going I wouldn’t be surprised if he was killed on his arrival in Iran. Certainly he won’t be taken anywhere near the main base of operations.

Also do Blunt and Jones suspect Jackal? It would explain at least partially why they were so adamant to deploy K-Unit specifically to Iraq. And the nuclear weapons! Who are they targeting? I pray for the future of England!

I know it’s 5 years too late but I’d just like to say thank for writing such an incredible story. It has honestly turned a shitty day into one of gripping suspense. I love everything about this fic and you’re such an amazing writer (even if I now have to get up in an hour’s time now rip) so just thank you so much! 3

It's been years since I read Alex Rider fan fiction, but after lying awake one night trying to figure out where this specific scene came from, I realised that it was from this very story! (the scene was Christmas day, when K-Unit discover Alex's scar- funny how it stuck in mind for so many years!) I understand that sometimes real life gets in the way, and you're certainly under no obligation to finish this. I think part of reading fan fiction is acknowledging that sometimes these just don't get completed, and that's just the nature of it. But I did want to say that after rereading this again it is still an incredible piece of fiction and you should be proud of yourself for even creating this much. If you ever continue it I will be overjoyed to have that email sitting in my inbox, but if not then I simply thank you for sharing this much. Thank you!

Please write more. I’m picturing Alex getting taken in a way no one is expecting and maybe tortured the way snake was tortured. You didn’t mention how snake was tortured but maybe you can make it something like that. I’m weird, I love seeing these characters in pain
