I've read a lot of well-written stories that focus on Peter's worry for an injured Edmund. This is one of the few I've read where Peter has been hurt, and Edmund has done the worrying. Nicely done.

Just a thought-why couldn't one of the intelligent birds flown to Cair Paravel and bring back the cordial? That would have been a lot faster than taking Peter back to the castle. Heck, a largish Gryphon could have flown Lucy and the cordial to Peter that way.

Lovely exploration of Edmunds determination and sense of duty while clearly displaying the love he has for his brother. Great writing :)

Edmunds devotion to Peter is enduring and worthy of a brother and you showed that. You also showed Edmund as a true king. Refusing to leave his country to the fell beast and stand by his brother's side spoke of the highest act of bravery.

Great story you've written and I hope the next is not far behind.

that was so touching and it moved me so much! i did cry a little bit i have to say. reading this made me think of my younger siblings, especially my sister. we are close in age and have shared a room for most of our lives. she always has my back and just putting myself in edmund's place made me realize how much she means to me. though i never want to see that happen ever again with these brothers. i would be cool to see peter's point of view based off this fanfic. it's just a thought. you did a great job with this!
