When started, it was interesting. I liked how the story explorered the logistics of soul bonds.
It started to lose me around the end though.

I like how you handled Hagrid's lesson. Although, I think that his punishments were a bit too much, for just talking rudely.

The selfinflicted emo-isms about "oh horror, i'm/we're too young, oh woes are us" are getting more than a little excessive.

1st of all, people do not think like that. Being shy, nervous, insecure etc etc might cause people to hold back or hesitate in oh so many ways, but going "oh woes" about being too young? No.

2nd, average age of 1st time globally is somewhere in the 14-16 range with 12 being within the range of "common" and "perfectly normal", because said average is shifted quite a bit upwards due to those that end up being very late, 30s, 40s or even later or never.

And for the excuse of "not physically ready" unless it's a matter of late or slow puberty, age 12 for a girl to get sexually involved is generally ok(unless those involved are very reckless or excessive). While "mentally ready" is generally a matter of being honest when asking themselves "do i want to or not" and finding a partner that you mesh well with and can trust.
And 13 is "old enough" that girls that age have been pregnant without even realising it until they're hours or even minutes from giving birth.

Their promise to Arthur is relevant (and was a stupid thing of them to give, because they were already getting strong hints that it would likely end up impossible to uphold ) and valid, but angsting over being "too young" is just getting silly and annoying.

All in all this was a brilliant story. Everything was very well thought out. Thank you.

While I've found their relationship at the age they are a bit icky, I think it's very well done, and you've been successful in conveying that it's not really a good or normal thing. The note right at the beginning of the story showed you wanted to show a soul bond realistically, and I think you've done it.

Alright... so, I read this in 2 days. I will say it was a very good read. I’ve got this thing with Soul Bond Fics... I think this is probably how it would have worked... falling over time. Some of the character deaths were slightly upsetting but I understand. I have to be honest though... (SPOILERS AHEAD) I found myself very depressed at the end. I was happy that they got to live on... but sad because they basically got to live on and watch all of their loved ones grow old and die... especially all their children... I know I’m 5 years late to this one, but Thank you.
