Beautiful and unsettling. I agree, it feels like there should be more. Is Compassion saying the situation's more complicated than it seems - or just that the Doctor hasn't yet regained his mental equilibrium so the relationship will be rough sailing? It's a long shot seven years later, but a continuation would be very much appreciated. Thanks for writing. :)

I really loved this story. The relationship between Fitz and the Doctor was very touching. I also found it very unsettling, but I think that's what you intended. The unreality of the situation was very well portrayed, and I kept feeling like there should be more! It's like I'm waiting for the next chapter. Very well done, there isn't enought Fitz/Eight stuff out there, though I'm trying to rectify the problem with writing some of it myself.

I enjoyed this story! It wasn't anything like I expected it to be from moment to moment (I mean there were a number of twists and turns that kept me off kilter, but in a good way). Not too sure I'm an advocate of the Fitz/Doctor relationship you depict, but given that, your story is well-written and cleverly plotted. 8 out of 10 stars.
