Reviews for Despair
Hebi R chapter 1 . 1/17/2013
Oh, baby...
I need to go read something happy now. Or cry. Yes, I think crying sounds very likely.

More than his natural pessimism, I always found interesting how hard it was to motivate Dead End. It wasn’t difficult for Motormaster to have him obeying his orders; the terror-on-eightween-wheels guy was no one whose authority could be challenged, but following orders to avoid serious pain is not the same as real motivation.

So, at the end, the one and only to motivate Dead End would be himself. Pessimist, but not suicidal, he was one that knew about life, because he knew how to observe it from the trench. Bravery takes more than simple momentarly guts, sometimes it takes just a moment of insight, and in Dead End’s case, that was the curiosity and the need to feel something else than despair.

Great fic, a very enjoyable read :o)

I haven't read too many pieces with just the Stunticons or involving them that I've really liked. However, I have read a couple that stuck with me (one of them involves Dead End as well), and this happens to join that list. This really shows another side to Dead End that no one would expect. It truly is amazing what strengths you can discover when everything seems to be falling apart around you. That was portrayed here very well.
