I was thinking about it, and is the plan Alfred mentioned to stop the shadows before they cause disasters? Maybe that's why the soul society never knew about them before, because no one had tried to intercept the creatures before disaster struck before then. Well, I suppose I'll find out soon enough anyway. Better keep reading right? Hahaha!
