Wow. I'm nearly speechless, but it's not from disgust.

Is the concept twisted? Yes. Do I feel bad for Castiel? Of course I do. But there's something about the way you wrote this that makes it..._believable_. Even out of Show, in the Western culture, Lucifer is deemed to be evil and base, filled with sin. I could visualize what he was doing to Castiel, and again, though some others would be completely nauseated at this piece, what I see is a writer that has a dynamic handle on characterization, dialogue, plot, visualization, and emotion, not a writer that is a freak of nature because she penned a work of fanfiction in which the devil decides to screw around (please pardon the pun) with an angel of God.

In my humble opinion, this was a great look at Castiel's human emotions and the havoc that they can wreak. It was also an exceptional dive into Lucifer's psyche as you explored the reasons for his actions.

The lines were spot-on, and they hit me in the gut. In some instances, I was even questioning my own motives, and that's rare when I read a fanfic, no matter who writes it. This, in particular, gave me pause:

"Take it from me. Who besides me knows what you're going through?"

As extremely scary as that line is, it's also very true. Because of who he was, and what he is now, he _does_ know what we're going through, because he's gone down the "been there, done that" road for millennia. Now, I'm not recommending that anyone become a devil worshipper (because I know that I'll get flames from someone who reads this review, no doubt), but I _am_ saying that you've done an exceptional job with this piece. I'm going to favorite it, and add you to my author's favorites, as well, not only because I respect you for being unafraid to explore this angle, but also because, as I've said, you're a very good writer, and you deserve every word that I've put in this review. :)
