Damn, what a creepy but cool beginning.

Well, this is an interesting way of redoing the story of the original Power Rangers. Granted, this is more of a sequel than a redux, but my point still stands that if somebody wanted to retool the original Power Rangers for a more modern era, this would be a good way of doing it.

First off, I like the quirky personalities introduced to this set of Rangers, especially since this time, the majority of the Rangers are female. I wonder who's going to get the Mastodon Power Morpher, given that you seem to be setting Virgil up to stay as a Kamen Rider. Also, I'm anticipating that Violet will be the Pink Ranger due to every Power Coin but the Pterodactyl revealing itself before this chapter.

Second, I like that the new Rangers don't immediately decide to become a team. The new Green Ranger reminds me of Batman, in the sense that he is a vigilante and is rather distrustful of "inexperienced newbies." Considering, however, that the original Green Ranger doesn't seem to trust them, either, there might be something to Ryan's issues with them.

Then there's your description of the rush of morphing, the thrill of power infusing itself into one's being. That was a nice touch, and I seem to recall some authors of Power Rangers ero-fic describing morphing in somewhat sexualized terms.

All in all, I enjoy what you're doing with this story so far and I'm looking forward to more of it.

What else can I say? The bulk of your chapter was Virgil's battle, which was fantastically done. I always think writing action is the hardest part of a story, so I bow down to your greatness. As a heads up, though, there are were one or two spots where you switch the position of your quotation mark and your punctuation. I'm guessing it was due to fast typing, though, since you're fine everywhere else in the chapter.

Ah, Milo, recognizing the burden of wearing Red, are we? Hmm, what about the Ninjetti Team? White was leader then, as when Tommy was White Tiger Ranger. Interesting that you made Blue the muscle of the team, though. Normally Blue's the brain, but Blue's also often second-in-command, which muscle is good for. And it's also interesting that you made Yellow the brain, since Yellow's normally the heart of the team. But maybe, this time around, it'll be Red taking on that role? I look forward to seeing how your team dynamics play out.

Also, since Milo recognized Virgil, will she tell the others? I'm thinking not, since she didn't call him on it here, but what if they meet up at her café another day?

I feel like the Green Ranger and Kamen Rider aren't going to get along very well, though. One's kick-a$$, and humble about it, while the other wants to be kick-a$$, and is considerably not so humble. *rubs hands* I'm *really* looking forward to having the two of them meet up.

Anyway, to wrap up, this was a great chapter! I can't wait to read more. Keep up the good work!

I have to say, the fire demon scene reminded me of the first episode of Lightspeed Rescue. Any chance it's the same one? I mean, you do have Azrael calling on the demons...

I'm really loving your Rangers. Ryan, in green, is somehow becoming my favorite, even though he's acting like a dirtbag to the other girls. Ceres is next up as my second favorite. I really like that you brought together all of them from such different walks of life. I also think it's interesting that you had Azrael just taint the blue morpher a little, instead of making it evil outright. Naomi looks like she's going to be the sweetheart of the group, and I love that you made Milo, a girl, Red Ranger! More power to the women!

Hmm... Virgil... Wonder what's up with him. I don't really know that much about Kamen Rider, myself, but this is pretty interesting.
