Love this realistic look at what Neal's position really was.

This is very good. It's good to read a story where Peter faces the way Neal is viewed by the FBI. He is treated like a criminal that they let out of prison to use, without regard for humanity and the person. Neal is expendable, he is the one who was supposed to get shot because Peter is more valuable. Neal is not an agent. I was pleased with Jones' conversation with Peter and Peter's decision to stay with Neal. The rest of the FBI can go back to work on the case.

I appreciated Neal's conversation with Peter when he woke up. Neal, as miserable as he is feeling, has no regrets. So the relationship develops. I am looking forward to seeing what else you far written.

I just got into White Collar about a month ago and I saw that you had written some stories for this fandom, which made me super happy because I'm in love with these characters. All of their relationships are so layered, especially between Peter and Neal. But even with their trust issues, there's still that brotherly love between them. I think you expressed that perfectly in this fic, especially for early season 1.

I'm more partial to Peter whump, which is rare in this fandom, but I don't mind some Neal whump from time to time. :)
