Read this start to finish for the first time on Odaiba Day 2018! It was a good read, and (obvs) I couldn't stop until it was over. Even if you don't write fanfics anymore, I hope you're still writing!

I know this fic is long dead, but it has been one of my favourrites forever and I was feeling nostalgic today. Thank you so much for creating this, it's really beautiful.

I do realize it's been nearly ten years since you finished writing this fic, and I don't even know if you still write for fanfiction anymore. However I have have been reading this story from 11pm until 4am. I must know. Does this story have a sequel? Or are there plans for a sequel? The ending, though beautiful, left me wanting. How will the other digidestined react to Hikari being home? And will Takeru and Hikari have to fight Dagomon again? There was such pretense for a sequel. I hope there is one or will be one. Although after 10 years, I doubt there will be a sequel if it hasn't been written yet.

I loved this story. You are an amazing writer! I love how you capture your readers. I especially loved how you incorporated folklore and myths into it. Towards the end, I also liked how you alluded to future mental issues with hikari and her reactions toward her almost rape and at the almost death of her lover! I'm super expected that I discovered this story and I can't wait to read more of your stories-which ill be doing soon!

I know that this fic was written ages ago, and chances are you will never read this review, by on the off chance that you do I felt compelled to write it anyway.
This story was phenomenal. From characterisation to plot to writing style, everything was done amazingly well. Additions of things like Hikari's mother's reaction to the whole scenario were fantastic. They added real depth to the story, the kind that you rarely see in fanfictions.
I will admit I am not familiar with the works you took inspiration from, but as far as I can tell you did a very good job incorporating them into the story.
Finally since I am of the mind that all reviews should try and include some type of constructive criticism if possible, I want to mention the one thing I found a little off. That would be their ages. To me they just seemed a little too mature to be only 13. Instead, maybe a better age would be seniors in high school and Hikari is worrying about applying to college, rather than a private high school. That's just my take on it at least.
All in all this was the best Takari fic I have read on this site, and judging by how long ago this was written, I wouldn't be surprised if some of your original work is now on the shelves of bookstores!

you are truly amazing and talented, for sure.. i really love it how you make the story goes beyond readers' ever imagination and perception.
you sure have profound comprehension about the Dark Ocean myth or whatever, and thanks to you now i quite understood about the plot of which Hikari firstly entered the Dark Ocean (in DA 02 series) in plus all the strong evidences you've written linked to Takeru saved Hikari in the episode.

I've wanted to read this since 2003 but always felt like reading through 24 chapters would be too daunting. I'm so glad I finally stopped being lazy and read it because it's one of the most amazing stories I have ever read on this website. I absolutely LOVED how you incorporated the Dark Ocean into this, as I've always wanted to learn more about the Lovecraft influence without actually doing any of the research myself. :P Also, as a Japanese person, I can really appreciate your knowledge of the culture. I'm sorry to say that I cringe often when I see inaccurate Japan references made in many of the fics here, but I think you did it in a way that makes me quite proud of my heritage.

You probably don't visit this site anymore, but I hope you know that eight years after its end, people here are still blown away by your work. I can't even believe my excuse for not reading it all those years ago was because I thought it'd take too long. I read it in one sitting.

You are able to describe and explain things so that one can truly feel the emotion exhibited throughout this story.
