| Aniphine chapter 3 . 11/14/2018 This chapter was sooo tantalizing. I love the descriptions of him feeding. Saucy! Integra’s memory of them discussing him pretending to be her kid, and the way he aged himself down to a young buck to impress her, was so cute! I was thrown initially by his fantasy of being her son, but I think I’m getting my head around it now. It’s a belonging thing, right? Also: “"I miss my coffin." "I miss tea and cigars." "The coffin, really. That's it."“ I literally laughed out loud! Great chapter. |

I love the pacing, the neat set up of having them trapped together on an island in a blizzard, I love how well their banter works, and I like how you write Alucard. He seems so huggable in this fic! That closing line of “I’m getting thirsty” was so foreboding! Excellent stuff. Thanks for writing! |

| Guest chapter 11 . 11/2/2018 Not gonna lie, I wasn’t expecting much from this fandom, but boy was I wrong. While I haven’t watched the anime in years, this story made me want to rewatch it. It’s a shame this story has been abandoned, and I do hope you’ll finish it one day, but this unfinished story is better than most 100k word, completed stories I’ve read on this site. |
