It would have been a good story if you had ended it at chapter 2, but I think the complexities and uncertainties you brought in chapter 3 added a lot more reality into the mix, taking the story to another level. It’s a lot to ask someone to change so much about themselves and I’m so glad you explored that here. Thanks for writing!

Hey Desenchanter, I rarely write reviews (for an explainable reason) but I thought this one deserved it. I loved everything about this story, especially the simplicity and resemblance to reality. I am sure a lot of people can relate to waiting for a text, and feeling that 'high' when your phone finally rings; as well as not trusting strangers but on some level, wanting to trust that one. I felt exactly what Kagome did as I read their exchange. Plus, the doubt Kagome had and how she dealt with it when she thought Inuyasha was cheating was also incredible and so realistic. I esp loved how she said she believed him but her imagination got the best of her... She's a writer, her imagination SHOULD run wild, but she trusted him and didn't overreact how most characters would. You are brilliant... You wrote the story perfectly, and I was hooked throughout. I had been looking for a good read, and after months of searching (no lie), I finally found it. Thank you.
