Maybe you've never watched a lot of British movies before, because, to be completely honest, they suck...bad. I mean, if there's one thing America excels in, it's movies. Britain stinks at them, and they're super sexualised and perverted. In fact, I only watch British movies if their rating is PG or lower, because even the PG-13 is too much most of the time.

XP The story was amazing though, and I loved how you created Oliver to be so troubled yet human. More importantly, human. It's one of the few stories I've ever read that had has a relationship between a human and a country. It's one of my favourites so far XDD

I have loooved this fic since seeing it on the kink meme. I want to say I love how you've designed Oliver - the fact he's an American whose chosen England over America I'm sure contributes to just how easily England falls for him. Also, I don't know if this was deliberate, but the name 'Oliver' is perfect just because it evokes images of Oliver Cromwell and what his reign did to England. Also, you wrote Arthur's behavior during and post-rape really, really well. I hope to see more of this fic soon! :D
