Oh my gosh, this was adorable and sad all at once. I love how even as sick and down in the dumps as Sam is he still tries to look out ofr dean as well. Wonderful story, well done!

The two brothers were just gold in this one, no doubt. Particularly their banter made me believe (much like Dean) that things were finally looking up again.

Plus, Sam getting the ice cream, making his older brother take the pain med AND sleep on the couch... marvellous achievement, especially for someone who is half conscious at best. :-p
