Okay, you need to print this out and send it to the writers for House because it NEEDS to be made! I LOVE this, this is what romance really is (I also hate chick flicks and would rather watch Die Hard, especially since it gives me the chance to drool over Alan Rickman). That sonnet is my absolute favorite of all time, I almost started crying when I first read "My Jimmy's eyes are nothing like the sun" *L* This is, by far, one of the most beautiful and amazing things I've ever read. The last line was the cherry one the cake and actually made me tear up a little cause my husband has the horrible habit of saying the same thing to me *LOL*

Thank you for this. My birthday is on Valentine's Day, and reading this made my day. Not only the sweet House/Wilson romance, but the fact that the "culturally accepted" romantic norms were portrayed in such a realistic way. Most people seem to think that since I was born on Single's Awareness Day (Valentine's for cool people;))that I like hugely romantic gestures that symbolize both my birth and romance.
