best aph fanfic I read

Anyway, years later I can look back on this story as essentially the catalyst for saving my life. Thank you so much for giving 13 year old me an escape and a reality check simultaneously.

I just remembered this fic exists, I kept up with it from the original publish date until probably 2012/13. I haven't been in the Hetalia fandom since, but I did want to let the author know how important this story was to me in middle school. I was living in a household not unlike Toris' in this AU, with a few untreated mental disorders to boot, and I don't think I would have reached out for help back then had I not had this story to shatter the idea that all therapists were inept and mental health facilities were still like victorian asylums.

Should I have read this in middle school, objectively? Probably not, I should have studied instead of reading adult-themed Hetalia fanfiction. q

I'm hoping you plan on finishing this! I barely finished this whole thing, and I for some reason just thought it was finished? So then I got to the end and was like, "Wait, what?" I was /so/ shook to find this was all, please write more! You write them so well, and I want to see them live happily ever after (or not, if that's where you see that going, either way, I just need closure, please ;-;). Your depictions of the characters are so incredibly canon, and the talks they have are so deep (I think, anyway). Please don't give up on this, I know you haven't updated in about four years, but if you just one shot the ending, or tell me where you see it going even, I would be so happy. Please finish this, it would make my whole world better, please!

I feel kind of stupid for asking this considering you haven't updated for almost two years the answer should be obvious but are you ever going to update this story? Your story is so well written, it is gripping fascinating and thrilling. I couldn't stop reading it when i found it. I love your style of writing and I hope that one day you'll consider continuing to write this amazing piece of work.

Wow, so it has been a few years since I last read this all the way through, bit bummed to see it still unfinished, but hopeful with the 2014 update and A/N note saying it will get there. I hope it does, I still love this story and thats pretty impressive considering the age diffrence of when I started this lol.
Theres a lot of character devlopment and introspection and the angst really hits home. I hope real life gives you time to finish this, It's been on my favorites list for a long time and I image some of the other origional readers too! Thank you so much for sharing and taking the time to write this, it's a really great read!
